Device Use

How the MetGuard works and fitting instructions.

  • Kanga Tuff MetGuard must be fitted with front lip on top of steel cap footwear.
  • MetGuard must be replaced if damaged due to severe impact or deterioration.
  • Do not modify MetGuard.
  • For Full protection, MetGuard must be fitted as per instructions.

LACE UP FOOTWEAR

Lace-Up Version (LACE UP FOOTWEAR)

  1. Run lace from (A) through hole (1) and lace from (B) through hole (2), ensure laces are the same length.
  2. Cross lace from (1) through (4) and down through (D)
    Cross lace from (2) through (3) and down through (C)
  3. Cross lace from (C) through (F) and up through hole (6) Cross lace from (D) through (E) and up through hole (5)
  4. Cross lace from (6) through (G) and lace (5) through (H) Continue to lace up footwear as normal.

 

SLIP ON FOOTWEAR

Strap-On Version (elastic sided/slip on footwear)

  1. Run straps through slots 7 & 8 under footwear at (A) and secure the buckle at the side.
    Optional
  2. Second strap (if required) can be fitted through slots 9 & 10 and secured around the back of footwear at (B)

The black strap is "anti static, non stretch" and the orange strap is "anti static, non stretch and flame retardant".
